Ready, Set, Go
The moment that I have waited for is here! Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 16, 2017, Virtuous Financial Group will start accepting new clients in Texas and North Carolina. I am so excited about getting this show on the road! Virtuous Financial Group is a woman-owned business that empowers women with “Virtues”. “Virtue” by definition is a good or useful quality of a thing. So join me on this quest to discover those “Virtues”.
School is in Session
Finally, the kids are in school and even my youngest started Kindergarten, and his first full week of school is complete. This transition is quite difficult for both of us, however, I am now getting accustomed to my new schedule.
Many moms are either preparing for their children to go to school or they have already began. (Yay!) In the late summer and early fall, I personally start to think about how quickly they will be graduating from high school, and I want to cherish every moment I have with them. I also dream about their life after leaving my home and how I plan to help them out.
And your point is…
My goal for the rest of the year is to share the resources that are available to help us, help our kids leave the nest in ten to fifteen years. (In my brain, this is what a Virtuous Woman would do).
In my experience, I’ve found that many of us women (this includes me) are afraid to ask the questions that we need to, when speaking to professionals. We may not even know what to ask, or we avoid feeling like we will sound as if we do not understand whatever that person is trying to relay to us, which is okay. We all face this insecurity. The anecdote to insecurity is knowledge, because knowledge is power, right? We will soon find out!
Share your thoughts, and let me know if there are any “virtues” you would like to know about.
